How long have you been with Stone Creek?
About 4 years, started as a barista at Glendale as well as a production team member, then I was a barista at Bay View while the on the Farmer's Market team, and then back to the factory to my role now.
Favorite Drink:  Hot- a medium Americano
Cold- a medium 2% monin vanilla iced Latte
Favorite Coffee: Ethiopian- either Sidamo or Harrar. Market Day Blend is my favorite SCC blend by far.
Favorite Music: Everything except smooth jazz and pop-country.
How do you Sip Slowly?   Walking and biking, taking my pup to the park, going to see concerts, barbeques.
Why do you like working at Stone Creek Coffee? I was lucky to have found the coffee industry and to be with Stone Creek Coffee.  I am surrounded by a lot of really good people who share similar passions.  Our work has a positive, direct effect on families in countries of origin when we purchase our relationship coffees.  Stone Creek is aware of its affects on people and the environment, is innovative and open to change, allows all of its employees access to the financial reports, takes care of its employees with good benefits, celebrates successes, and uses the not-so-great experiences to grow into something better.  At Stone Creek, we have a constant discussion of how we can better ourselves as a whole.  We work on recycling programs, composting, education, 'work-life balance' that monitors if employees are enjoying their job enough to leave energy for life outside of work, community support through donations.....the great projects are endless.  I enjoy being surrounded by friendly, respectful people that I can learn from and laugh with.  I can honestly say that you'll never walk into any room here without seeing a smile, and as much energy as I give, I certainly get back.
