Move over Coca Cola and make room for a 12 oz Boston Latte! Sources say that a press conference is expected today where American Idol Executive Producer, Simon Fuller, will annouce that Stone Creek Coffee will replace Coke as the official beverage sponsor of American Idol - Season 9.

Speaking on condition of anonymity, a top level executive from Milwaukee, WI based Stone Creek Coffee said, "We're thrilled to team up with American Idol. The success of the show has been tremendous and we're happy to be a part of it."

The now famous Coca Cola cups that sit before judges Randy, Paula, and Simon will soon be replaced by Stone Creek's "Green Cup." The change in sponsorship was alledgedly brought about when current contestent and Milwaukee native, Danny Gokey was enjoying some of his hometown coffee on the set. Judge Randy Jackson tried a taste and stated, "Dog! This stuff if dope! We've got to get some of this in here!" .
