Two amazing Stone Creek Coffee staff members, Christie Boivin and Stefanie Zydowicz , were on hand at Fair Trade Day Milwaukee held in City Hall on Monday, October 15. The two were lucky enough to meet Paul Rice (pictured above), the Founder and CEO of Transfair USA, and they were all too happy to give him the lowdown on Stone Creek's Certified Fair Trade and Socially Responsible programs.

Both Christie and Stefanie had a fabulous time at the festivities as Milwaukee made history by becoming the nation's first large-size Fair Trade City. It joins more than 300 European Fair Trade Towns and two towns in the United States that have passed legislation in support of fair trade and committed other resources to promote fair trade businesses and products. In light of this momentous occasion, Stone Creek simply couldn't be more proud to call Milwaukee home.
