I would like to describe a joyous exchange between and customer and myself. Here is how the story goes... about two weeks ago I was working behind the counter in the beautiful Bay View store when birthdays became to topic of conversation. It just so happened my birth date was around the corner and I mentioned that all I really wanted were some highlighters for my birthday ( I really love office supplies). I recieved many fantastic gifts, but none were as neon as I had hoped. A few days later a cusomer asked me if I had gotten the highlighters I wanted, when I told her no, she showed up the next day with a glowing rainbow package of highlighters to brighten her barista's day!

How wonderful it is to know that the efforts we put forth for our customers result in daily exchanges that leave us thrilled about our day and inspired to do something nice and unexpected for someone special in our own lives.
