As the weather starts to turn cooler, and the leaves start to change, so changes the atmosphere of the South Shore Farmer's Market: we said farewell to the Door County Peach girls, who were replaced by a pumpkin/squash vendor, and apples have begun to make an appearance as well. To prepare for the oncoming fall season, Stone Creek Coffee has added some new offerings as well. While we will still be making the infamous Bay View Chill and Thai Iced Coffee, we thought you might like something a little warmer to stave off the crisp fall breeze. To help you out, we have added Cinnamon coffee to our menu - a slightly sweet, delightful beverage that combines ground cinnamon, cloves, and sugar with our Sinay Neves Brazil for a delicious treat. As we like to say at the Market, "It tastes like Fall in a cup!"
Additionally, this Saturday, October 2nd, we will be brewing our 2010 Harvest Blend, for those who like their coffee sans the sugar. This seasonal blend combines coffees from El Salvador and Guatemala, featuring notes of chocolate and citrus with an oaken linger.
We will also be selling one-pound bags of both of these great coffees through the end of the season. What's more - we are selling pounds at a discounted price of $10 at the Market! The purchase of a pound includes a free coffee beverage as well; you really can't go wrong. So grab your punch card, and a travel mug, and come down to the South Shore Farmer's Market to check out these great deals, our friendly staff, and the beautiful weather at South Shore Park! Only three Markets left!
