Hola Desde Guatemala! - 1/31/2010

Greetings from Guatemala! I've just arrived for the beginning of a 17 day journey through some of the world's best coffee lands. For the next ten days, I will be traveling with members of the Roaster's Guild of America as we visit nine farms and one cooperative. We will be visiting six of Guatemala's coffee growing regions: Antigua, Acatenango, Atitlan, Huehuetenango, Coban and New Oriente.
After my ten days here in Guatemala, I will travel to El Salvador to visit with the Lima Family, one of our direct relationship partners. It will be great to see the farms during harvest and actually watch the coffee that will soon arrive to our Factory being picked and processed.
