History

"I started Stone Creek Coffee in the summer of 1993.  I purchased a 12 kilo coffee roaster and shipped it to Milwaukee from Nevada.  The coffee roaster arrived in a couple of large wooden crates.  I was so excited I could hardly wait to roast my first batch of coffee.  Keep in mind I had never done this before and my excitement was tempered with nerves.  I finally got the roaster setup, gas lines hooked up, fire extinguisher in hand... I turned on the roaster and sparks flew out the back of it!  After my heart rate returned to a respectable level, I found the power cord had been cut during transit and the roaster had shorted out during startup.  I fixed the power cord, fired it up and 12 minutes later the first batch of Stone Creek Coffee was in the cooling tray!"

In 1993, Stone Creek's first batch of coffee came pouring out of our small batch roaster and was delivered to our single store in Whitefish Bay, WI.  Today, we are roasting on a much larger machine and deliver coffee to our eight retail stores throughout Metro Milwaukee, as well as our wholesale partners across the state and country.  From that first batch of coffee in 1993 to today, we roast locally to assure freshness and an amazing cup for our customers.  We continue to strive for growth and improvements for those customers as well as ourselves. 

We founded our company on seven values that still guide everything we do.  Whether interacting with our coworkers, our customers, or even our competitors the Stone Creek Seven always dictate our actions:
